ADEK-FORMULA provides a comprehensive combination of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D3, E, K1, and K2, together with trans-geranylgeraniol as GG-Gold™. Each softgel provides 1,515 mcg RAE of vitamin A, 125 mcg (5,000 IU) of vitamin D3, 1,050 mcg of vitamin K, 50 mg of vitamin E tocotrienols, and 5 mg of trans-geranylgeraniol.

Fat-soluble vitamins work synergistically. Vitamin D supports calcium absorption, while vitamins K1 and K2 participate in its proper utilization and help direct calcium toward bone tissue. Vitamins A and D support immune function, while vitamin E tocotrienols provide antioxidant protection for cells.

Vitamin A

The formula provides 1,515 mcg RAE of vitamin A as retinyl palmitate, a preformed form of vitamin A that can be readily utilized by the body.

Vitamin A is essential for maintaining normal vision, including the eyes’ ability to adapt to low-light conditions. It participates in epithelial cell renewal and supports the health of the skin and the mucous membranes of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts.

Vitamin A is also required for normal immune function, red blood cell production, cellular growth, reproductive health, and thyroid hormone metabolism.

Vitamin E

ADEK-FORMULA provides 50 mg of vitamin E isomers as DeltaGold® delta- and gamma-tocotrienols derived from annatto seeds.

Tocotrienols belong to the vitamin E family and provide antioxidant activity. They help protect cell membrane lipids from oxidative damage and support the body’s natural antioxidant defenses.

Delta- and gamma-tocotrienols are also used to provide nutritional support for cardiovascular health, normal lipid metabolism, immune function, skin health, and nervous system function.

Vitamin D3

Each softgel provides 125 mcg, or 5,000 IU, of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol. This is the same form of vitamin D naturally produced in the skin in response to sunlight.

Vitamin D3 supports the intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus, helps maintain normal bone mineralization, and is required for healthy teeth and muscle function.

Vitamin D also participates in the regulation of innate and adaptive immune responses and supports normal immune system function.

Vitamin K1

The formula provides 1,000 mcg of vitamin K1 as phytonadione.

Vitamin K1 is required for the production of blood-clotting factors and the maintenance of normal coagulation. It also participates in the activation of proteins involved in calcium metabolism and bone health.

Vitamin K2

Each softgel provides 50 mcg of vitamin K2 as menaquinone-4, or MK-4.

Vitamin K2 activates osteocalcin, a protein involved in binding calcium and incorporating it into the structure of bones and teeth. It also activates matrix Gla protein, which participates in the proper distribution of calcium and supports vascular health.

MK-4 is a form of vitamin K2 naturally present in human tissues.

Trans-Geranylgeraniol GG-Gold™

The formula provides 5 mg of trans-geranylgeraniol as GG-Gold™.

Geranylgeraniol is a naturally occurring compound involved in cellular isoprenoid pathways. These pathways are required for the production and normal function of several cellular compounds, including coenzyme Q10 and vitamin K2 in the form of MK-4.

The body’s production of geranylgeraniol may decline with age. Certain medications, including statins and bisphosphonates, also affect metabolic pathways involving this compound.

Amount Per Softgel:

Vitamin A as retinyl palmitate — 1,515 mcg RAE.

Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol — 125 mcg, or 5,000 IU.

Vitamin K — 1,050 mcg:

• Vitamin K1 as phytonadione — 1,000 mcg.

• Vitamin K2 as menaquinone-4, MK-4 — 50 mcg.

Vitamin E isomers as DeltaGold® delta- and gamma-tocotrienols — 50 mg.

Trans-geranylgeraniol as GG-Gold™ — 5 mg.

Other Ingredients: Bovine gelatin, purified water, glycerin, medium-chain triglycerides, annatto for color, beeswax, and quillaja extract.

Contains fish (cod).

Recommended Use:

Adults: Take one softgel daily with food or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Children: Use only under the direction of a qualified healthcare practitioner, based on the child’s age, diet, other supplements, and laboratory results. Each softgel provides 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 and is not intended for unsupervised daily use in children without an individualized protocol.

Do not use if you are allergic to fish or any other ingredient in this product. Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take warfarin, Coumadin, other anticoagulants, statins, or medications for osteoporosis.

Do not combine with other supplements containing high amounts of vitamins A, D, E, or K without evaluating the total daily intake.
