After opening, store the vial in a dark place inside the refrigerator door.

Methyl-B12 Therapy

When used correctly according to Dr. Neubrander’s protocol, methyl-B12 therapy can lead to significant improvement in children with autism, including the initiation of speech.

This therapy requires precise dosing, proper injection technique, and long-term consistency. It is not a “try and see” type of therapy.

• Methyl-B12 has been shown to be effective in 94% of children, contrary to the common belief that it only works in 30–40%.
• Effective for children of all ages (from 9 months to 18 years) when following the correct protocol.
• Subcutaneous injections are the most effective method, compared to oral, sublingual, transdermal, or intramuscular forms.
• Concentration and injection site matter: the ideal concentration is 25–50 mg/mL. Injections should be shallow, into the fatty tissue of the buttocks.

Standard dosage: 64.5 – 75 mcg/kg once every 3 days, or on a Mon/Wed/Sat schedule.

Common side effects (temporary):

• Initial hyperactivity
• Sleep disturbances
• Increased mouthing behavior
• These usually resolve over time. It is important not to stop the protocol.

For lasting effects, long-term use (at least 18–24 months) is recommended.
